In the age of Satellite TV, Internet, no one is able to escape the information onslaught. It could be news, ads, propaganda films, documentaries. Every time you turn on your TV set, start enjoying Facebook, some news item hits you and starts an anxiety process. It could be related to personal life, business prospects, political affiliation. Should we harbor daily dose of anxieties?
In the 1930s, one pastor itemized anxiety into five categories of worries, four of which imaginary and the fifth, “worries that have a real foundation,” occupying “possibly 8% of the total.”
The solution is to be a fool and be ready to live.
